Diana Frances Mountbatten-Windsor; née Spencer
otherwise known as Diana, Princess of Wales (first wife of Prince Charles to those unfamiliar) 1 July 1961 – 31 August 1997 Ah, one the most beautiful faces in the world. I am a bit of a fan of hers. This has been "rotting" on my cabinet for 5 months. decided to have it scanned. This was how she looked like back in 1981. I decided to forgo the "extreme" photorealism effect in my earlier portraits and concentrate on the "expressive" side of portriature. graphite pencils on drawing block ( this is actually watercolour paper ). I was rather proud of this one. Hers was a bit difficult to capture for me, as she has one of the most expressive faces Ive seen. I think I got her face right this time.
